Santa Ageda's Eve

On 4th February, we celebrated Santa Ageda’s Eve. It is a traditional Basque celebration. Primary 6 pupils walked all around our neighbourhood (South Intxaurrondo) dressed in traditional farmers’ clothes, singing Santa Ageda’s Eve songs and beating the ground rhythmically with their sticks. Singers usually ask for some money, food or drink.
