Euskararen Eguna (Basque Language Day) 2013
As every 3rd December, we celebrated Basque Language Day, as a means to remember how important it is to use Basque not only at school, but also in everyday life. In the picture above we are at Sagastieder Square, Donostia.

A documentary: "Amerikanuak".
AMERIKANUAK is a documentary about Basque immigrants who went to USA looking for work and a better future.
Basically, Amerikanuak talks about feeling homesick, about struggling in a different country to make a decent living and about being part of a community.
*Documentary by Nacho Reig and Gorka Bilbao.
